Friday the 13th - My Twitter Birthday - Four Years Goes by So Quickly on TwitterFour years ago today (it was actually a Sunday in 2008) I signed up for my first Twitter account. It’s amazing to me that only four years and one day ago I had never heard of Twitter. Wow, has my life changed in the past four years! Twitter years go by faster than Internet years or dog years. Time flies when we’re having fun, and Twitter has been a non-stop blast for me.

I now have a thriving social media management agency as a direct result of needing to pay for my Twitter addiction, WePost Media. I’ve used my Twitter skills and expertise to build an audience for my blog, StartupWeek.ly, and to assist well over 100 new startup companies.

I am approaching 118,000 followers on my personal Twitter account (@Thubten), with an additional 41,000+ & 27,000+ followers on @WePostMedia and @StartupWeek_ly, respectively.

I have met (in person) hundreds of people that I would never have even known existed without Twitter. I have conversed with thousands of others as a result of our first getting acquainted on Twitter. I now have the privilege of assisting awesome entrepreneurs with marketing their businesses using social media.

Life is good and I am grateful. What amazing and glorious adventures will unfold for me (and for you) in this coming Twitter year?! Stay tuned!
